N.C.R. REACT is different from other emergency teams

Our cadre is comprised of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) professionals and public safety officials that have been focused on communications as their professional careers. N.C.R. REACT members and teams have years of trunked radio experience and interoperablity expertise. This translates into reliable two-way communication and educated problem-solving using professional theory, commercial grade equipment and subject matter expertise second to none. Our mission is to ensure that our communities stay connected during times of crisis and emergency, when normal means of communication fail.

A name you can trust, monitoring radio since 1962

Regional Emergency Assistance Community Taskforce, Radio Emergency Associated Citizen Teams or Radio Emergency Associated Community Teams; what matters isn't the acronym itself, but the mission and the people who stand behind it. When REACT was founded, the official acronym was established as Radio Emergency Associated Communication Teams. However, because the organization relied on "Citizen" band radio and served the local "Community," both of those words have been widely substituted in team names and media reports for decades.
