Our application process is relatively straightforward. You will be asked to fill out a form detailing your contact information, the radio communication skills you currently have, what region you wish to support, and how much time you can devote to the organization(s). Once your application is received, you will be contacted by an NCR Staff member to determine your desire and eligibility for onboarding to N.C.R. REACT or a local Independent Team.

If we do not currently have a team in your area, we will establish an Independent Team or you may choose to affiliate with a specific team of your preference. In some cases, we may be planning to establish a new team nearby in the immediate future. At present, N.C.R. REACT maintains associations with more than 20 local teams within our region and surrounding areas. We encourage involvement in routine team operations, though attendance at every function is not required. The benefit of regular participation is that we all become accustomed to working with each other. Most importantly, our volunteers must be available to serve during real emergencies and to help maintain our equipment and assets. Please note that membership in N.C.R. REACT is limited and participation in certain N.C.R. REACT activities may require additional credentialed training.
